Ensures integrity of financial data (FFS, Plan System, G&A, Income Statement, A/R, etc.) Key customers include the Regional Controller/ Financial Director, Regional Staff and Franchisees.Monitors and reports on the financial performance of the region (income statement, SOX, G&A, A/R etc). Assists the Regional Controller in analyzing the impact of business decisions on short-and long-term profitability (Development, Franchising, Marketing, Field Service and strategic initiatives, etc). Assists in the preparation of the Regional annual plan including compiling and loading information into the plan system. Assists Regional Controller with analysis of Franchisee?s financial position and profitability (watch list, financial reviews, FFS, A/R, etc). Works with regional Controller on Regional Profit Team; share optimization practices with Franchisees. Prepares financial analysis packages as needed (real estate transactions, financial assistance, store sales, etc.); works with the Regional Controller to identify issues, suggest implications and recommend solutions. Assists the Regional Controller in training, as it pertains to key financial information, changes in the Company Accounting policies and procedures and other pertinent data (primarily for Business Consultants, Franchisees and Registered Applicants). Provides suggestions to the Regional Controller to improve efficiency and enhance the quality of accounting services (Region, Division, and Home Office). Maintains relationships with banks and CPA firms to support the ongoing success of the McDonald's system. Ensures that financial practices are sound and in accordance with accounting rules (GAAP, SOX, etc.) as well as company guidelines (McABS, etc), policies and procedures. Maintains internal control procedures to safeguard corporate assets. Assist with implementation of MBS system Responsible for Perking Procedures and inventory of BOG cards.
